Meditations For When You’re Healing From An Infection or a Virus
This past week, I’ve been dealing with an infection. While I have things I am taking internally and making sure I get plenty of sleep and rest, I also wanted to tailor my meditation time to help my body heal.
Healing meditations can be an amazing compliment and help to your body while healing from infections and viruses. Just remember to make sure you’re doing all you need to support your body outside of meditation.
I figured this could definitely be a good resource for others when they’re dealing with something similar. This list is here for me in the future as it is for anyone else who may need it because let’s be real, it’s a lot of energy to track down good healing meditations during times like those.
Here are some of the most helpful and soothing meditations I’ve been using during this time:
Meditations For When You’re Healing From An Infection or a Virus:
- Immunity Boosting Meditation by Victoria Bailey – This meditation uses visualization and gentle breath to help you boost your body’s immune response.
- Heal Naturally by Suamya Mathur – I really enjoyed this meditation as the practitioner had a really lovely voice and sang a soft healing chant in the end. There was guidance in to deep relaxation and some visualization.
- Yoga Nidra For Deep Healing by Kumari Sky – This one was great to get my body in to a deeply relaxed and restful state. It is also tailored specifically for dealing with physical illness and supporting your body to heal.
- Rapid Recovery From Illness (hypnosis) by Jaqueline Lu – This is a hypnosis/hypnotic meditation that helps you get in to a trance where your subconscious can pick up on the messages in the meditation. This was great when I didn’t feel like focusing on absolutely anything and needed to simply lay there but wanted to listen to something not just silence.
- Visualize Wellness by Dane Wright – This was a great visualization. You imagine the illness/infection and your immune system as a school of tiny fish devouring it!
- Allow Your Body To Recover From Illness by Femke – This one had a lot of self & body compassionate affirmations. There was a gentle body scan as well. It is definitely good for reassuring yourself in the belief that your body can heal.
- Activate And Heal by Happy Mind Meditation – This meditation is meant to help relax your nervous system and then use visualization to “supercharge” your immune system.
